The dam is a Russian Crabbet mare whose lineage is linebred top and bottom to the legendary Crabbet stallion Raffles a son of Skowronek. Raffles was a sire of signficance and numerous champions. He was bred at Crabbet Park and imported into the US as part of the first foundation American Arabian horses. Raffles was very dominant in stamping his offspring with gorgeous Arabian heads with extreme dishes and lots of action. Many early American Arabian National champions and even today trace to Raffles lineage. Although short in stature himself, he sired horses of average Arabian size. Magic's sire side combines Raffles with the English producing Russian import *Perkal, who is noted for siring size, substance and a lot of English action. The sire, Leo Dakota GB, in linebred to the great hall of famers, Leo and King for ensuring outstanding athletic ability, substance and dispostion.
