Arabian Mare Maestros Ariel 2002

From beautiful mares come beautiful foals. Ariel continued in her dam and sire's tradition of combining beauty with athletic ability. TF Maestro was a grand champion halter and performance stallion who sired futurity champions as well as National Top Ten champions before his untimely death shortly after he began his breeding and show career. Ariel had won halter and performance competitions at local and all breed shows, often time competing and winning in halter against quarter horses in quarterhorse country! She had high point wins to her credit. She was an awesome moving horse that can easily do the slow Western Jog or collect and extend for English Performance. She was my favorite once in a life time mare. She could be saddled and ridden safely without lunging even after years of not being ridden. She gave all of her heart and tried anything I would ask ,100% of the time. Out on the trails she really took care of me and always put herself between me and any other horses when walking out in the pasture by my side.
She was my queen of the pasture with her graceful elegance and royal demeanor. Her foals were always beautiful and charismatic, she s produced 2 World Champion titled Pinto Arabian foals. Ariel was a 1 in a million horse that was sadly cut short by a rare cancer. I will miss her special whinny and big bright eyes greeting me from her stall. I miss her deeply and hope to see her at the Rainbow Bridge.

A Journey's End

June 21 2007 -
Even at the end, Ariel looked radiant and beautiful.
Her enormous heart and love kept the massive invasive abdominal cancers that lay hidden inside a secret. She kept bright eyed and with a dappled bloom to her coat to the very end. I will always remember the best ride of my life with her just 2 weeks prior, perhaps she knew and gave her all. She was like riding the wind and guiding her was just to think the direction and gait. There was never a horse so loved, or loving back for me.
She was my Arabian War Mare.

Just this side of Heaven is a place called Rainbow Bridge....

When an animal dies that has been especially close to someone here,
that pet goes to Rainbow Bridge.
There are meadows and hills for all of our special friends
so they can run and play together.
There is plenty of food, water and sunshine.
Our friends are warm and comfortable.
All the animals who had been ill or old are restored to health and vigor.
Those who were hurt or maimed are made whole and strong again,
just as we remember them in our dreams of days and times gone by.
The animals are happy and content,
except for one small thing:
They each miss someone very special to them who had to be left behind.
Though they run and play together happily,
the day comes when one stops and looks into the distance.
His bright eyes are intent;
His eager body quivers.
Suddenly he begins to break away from the group,
flying over the green grass, his legs carrying him faster and faster.
YOU have been spotted!
And when you and your special friend finally meet,
you cling together in joyous reunion, never to be parted again.
The happy kisses rain upon your face;
Your hands again caress the beloved head,
and you look once more into the trusting eyes of your pet,
so long gone from your life but never absent from your heart.

THEN YOU CROSS RAINBOW BRIDGE TOGETHER...
